MMANA-GAL Basic by GAL-ANT is a free Windows application for designing and analyzing wire antennas. Built on the proven MININEC calculation engine, it helps amateur radio operators, students, and RF enthusiasts model antenna behavior, predict performance, and refine designs before building.

Key capabilities:

• Easy geometry entry for wires and segments, with an included library of common antennas (dipoles, Yagis, verticals, loops, and arrays)
• Calculations for impedance, SWR, gain, radiation efficiency, and front-to-back ratio, plus current distribution and frequency sweeps
• 2D azimuth and elevation plots, along with 3D radiation pattern visualization
• Ground modeling (free space, perfect ground, and real ground) and support for loads and transmission lines
• A built-in optimizer to tune dimensions toward target metrics such as SWR or gain
